The Space – Yoga, Movement & Breathwork Waiver

By participating in any class, workshop, event, or private session (in person or online) offered by The Space, Liss, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Personal Responsibility

  • I understand that yoga, movement, and breathwork include physical activity and that participation may involve some risk of injury.

  • I accept full responsibility for my own health and wellbeing during any class or activity and will practice within my personal limits.

  • I will notify the teacher of any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or concerns before class begins, and take rest or modify as needed.

2. Assumption of Risk

  • I voluntarily participate in classes, workshops, and activities offered by The Space at my own risk.

  • I understand that while teachers will offer guidance, it is my responsibility to listen to my body and work within what feels safe for me.

  • If I do not wish to receive hands on adjustments I will let the teacher know before the class

  • I release The Space, its teachers, staff, and affiliates from any and all liability for injuries, damages, or losses that may occur through participation.

3. Breathwork & Wellbeing Practices

  • I understand that certain breath practices (pranayama) and somatic techniques can have strong physical or emotional effects.

  • I agree to take responsibility for my own comfort and safety, and to stop or rest if anything feels uncomfortable or overwhelming.

4. Online & Recorded Sessions

  • If I participate in classes online or via recordings, I acknowledge that I am practicing unsupervised and assume full responsibility for my safety and surroundings.

5. Consent

By attending any class, workshop, or event at The Space, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to this waiver, and that I participate voluntarily and at my own risk.

In short:

Please practice with care, listen to your body, and move in a way that honours your limits. Our teachers are here to guide you — but your wellbeing is always in your own hands.
